About Tina Steinberg Designs
In 2003 B.J.C. (before jewelry career),
Tina went searching for a mom’s bracelet
for herself….murky territory for someone
who doesn’t wear jewelry. One night about a week into her search, a vision of a bracelet popped up in her dream. Search over.
Self-taught since the morning after that dream, Tina has created a special niche based on an intuitive perception of what her customers covet: simple, yet unordinary personal jewelry. Don’t let the word simple fool you…that which draws your eye is an appeal that comes from unique & understated combinations of materials often centered around her handmade pendants & charms. Good stuff.
What started as an abstract moment in her sleep has flourished into a dynamic artpreneurship that has touched many lives. Tina’s work continues to be dictated by her dreams & serendipitous moments. It is also influenced by her beautiful & patient family, amazing circle of friends & supportive customers. Her personal approach is born from her rich upbringing in a large Mexican-Italian family that instilled the gifts of wicked humor, a strong work ethic & a love of diversity. Priceless.
As a side note, Tina is pretty sure her soul is recycled from some good & noteworthy folks from days long gone…..not sure who, but they insist on jewelry that captures a look from days long gone. Timeless.

I deserve to win this prize because I am absolutely in love with her work!
Tina’s work is beautiful, love the finger print charms!
First I have to say i LOVE the BBH site! I had a less than great hospital birth, and after my daughter was born I became birth obsessed because i knew there had to be a better way! and there is :0) I am now in the process of becoming a birthing doula and child birth educator. As far as this lovely jewelry is concerned I have to say I have wanted to find a “mom” necklace for a long time but never crossed anything I truly liked then i saw Tina’s collection and fell in love. I am a fan od simplicity sometimes less is more and in this case for me it really rings rrue. Her understated yet whimsical designs with a vintage flare are just my style. I am going through a divorce and as hard as that is I have to say my bond with my 19 month old had become that much stronger through all of this she is all I need in this world and as long as we are together its all going to be okay, and now seems like a great time to show that with a beautiful piece from tina!
I have a couple of Tina’s designs including the “I’m not afraid, I was born to do this” which my husband bought me when I had our son 13 months ago and was a terrified first time mom. The necklace brought my comfort in reminding me everyday that I was born to be our sons mom and that I would figure everything out and be great at it. 13 months later, my son is the most amazing part of our lives. I have been eyeing the Love Touch collection for sometime now and I have been waiting until my babys fingerprint edges are strong enough to show up in a print. I believe they are now and I would love nothing more than to wear his little finger print everyday. I love Tina’s collections. They are unique, inspiring and a expressive. Please pick me!
such beautiful jewelry!! Thank you for sharing your unique designs with the world!! <3
This is going to be my 7th baby, and I would absolutely love to get a token to celebrate this birth.
I love Tina’s jewelry. Very unique designs!
Such gorgeous jewelry!! I would love showing it off, and maybe my lil one would enjoy playing with it rather than pinching the unoccupied boob -lol-.
I love your site and I am in love with this jewelery. Keep up the good work spreading positive birth information. Blessings~

I’d like to win because her jewelry rocks!
I just received my birth doula certification through DONA 3 days ago!! My babies have left their fingerprints on my heart and on my life and I will never be the same. I would love, love, love this special jewelry to commemorate this time in my life. So sweet.

I would love to win! Tina has come up with such a unique way to keep your loved ones close. I asked my husband to get me a mother’s necklace after our second baby is born and I’d much rather have this than birthstones.
Would love to treat myself to a little bday present! (may 6)!
