The Bring Birth Home Facebook page is host to a wonderful community of women and families who support home birth.
They are a rich variety of people, ranging from young to old, from those who have given birth at home and those who are curious about the possibility.
I am often in awe of their willingness to help each
other – providing wise advice, opinion
that isn’t pushy, support through tough times and heartfelt congratulations during moments of celebration.
Who IS the BBH Community?
I would like to know, wouldn’t you?
From what I see as the creator and currently sole administrator of the Bring Birth Home Facebook page, it is much more than “just another Facebook page.”
The members mean more to me, and I think, more to each other than that. Let’s continue to strengthen our bond!
I am creating an opportunity to get to know exactly who the BBH Community is.

Great idea, I look forward to “liking”. Will there be an option for home water birth?
x
Awesome! Yes there will. There will be one question per hour until 5:30 tonight (EST).
I “dislike” the option of was planning a homebirth for my first child up until a week ago when signs of preeclampsia has made it impossible. Now I’m planning a hospital birth and hoping that I can have a homebirth for my second child.
One of the statistics you showed was people who planned a home birth but were transferred, but then I couldn’t find that option. Anyways…that was me! If I could I would plan another home birth, but the midwife and doctor said absolutely not after a my last cesarean. Bummer! I loved being home for my birth even if I had to transfer. I wouldn’t do it any differently.
I updated that for you Chantal. Thanks for pointing it out to me. Here’s the actual link to the question: https://www.facebook.com/BringBirthHome/posts/10150255804778018
